Mech Monkey Workshop
Our workshop is staffed by full time Cytech accredited mechanics and kitted out with top quality tools and equipment, from super sturdy bike stands that can hold the heaviest e-bikes to tools to suit the ever-expanding standards of bottom brackets!
Each mechanic has a computer screen at their bench so they can manage your service job effectively using our workshop software. This means the guys can keep on top of pending parts and keep you up to date on how your ride is coming along as well as consulting service manuals and parts diagrams as they go.
We have an open plan workshop/showroom area so you can see how we work on bikes while you're in store and chat to the mechanic that completed your repair work. We repair everything from punctures to full suspension rebuilds all in house. We even have a partner paint shop so we can facilitate full custom paint jobs and handle the process from start to finish for you.
Our mechanics are also fully trained in the latest E bike Technology and are approved service providers for Bosch and Shimano systems. We can perform everything from firmware updates and fault diagnostics to motor replacements and battery testing.
Every bike we sell goes through the workshop for a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) to make sure its up to our high standards before you collect it or its packed up for shipping. As an approved Invisframe fitter we can wrap your new ride in clear protection film at this stage or fit any upgrade parts you've selected.
I want to leave my bike in, how does it work...
There is no need to pre book a workshop slot, just drop the bike off when it suits you. We'll have a chat and you can let us know if there is something specific you need looked at or we can check over the bike and make a recommendation. Once we've started your repair work we will be in touch if there is anything chargeable above and beyond what you have asked for, and let you know the extra cost and any change to the timescale.
Can I pre book a repair slot? This is not a service we offer at the moment, we find our current queue system works best.
If you are under real time pressure to get your bike back, please let us know, we will do our best to work with you.
Service levels:
We offer two service levels, General Service and a Full Service. Click below to see which level might suit your needs.
If something specific needs our attention, we also price service items individually or you may choose to add some of these as extras to your chosen service.
Our mechanics will be able to advise you what service level or individual charges suit your bike the best, targeting the areas most in need and giving you the best value for money.
